ANNOUNCEMENT: Article Processing Charge (APC) Implementation

Dear Authors and Researchers,

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards in scholarly publishing and ensuring the sustainability of our open-access model, Makav Publishing is introducing an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy across its journals, including RATS.

Effective Date: April 15

Starting from April 15, all manuscripts submitted on or after this date will be subject to an APC. This policy applies only after the successful completion of the peer-review process and formal acceptance of the manuscript. There are no submission or review fees.

The APC is implemented to support essential publishing services, including editorial management, peer-review coordination, professional editing, typesetting, DOI assignment, indexing processes, and long-term digital archiving.

Please note that editorial decisions are made independently of any fees, and the APC does not influence the evaluation process in any way.

In line with our commitment to equitable access to publishing opportunities, waiver or discount requests may be considered for authors with financial constraints, upon request and editorial approval.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support in advancing high-quality academic publishing.

Sincerely,
Editorial Office
Makav Publishing
